PLANET RACE 16
A 16-car, 3-lap 2D race around a tiny planet whose gravity pulls toward its core
Race 3 laps around the surface of a tiny planet and fight your way to 1st place among 16 cars. Gravity pulls toward the planet's core, so the whole screen spins as you drive.
Launch off a ramp into space and rotate your car in midair. Land parallel to the ground to earn a little boost, or land a full flip for a lot more. The track splits between floating platforms and caves, and 8 kinds of items like missiles and mines let you stop the cars ahead.
Ten races in all. Reach the goal rank in each race to pick one of 21 upgrades and move on to the next planet; miss it and your run ends. There are 8 planets, from a low-gravity moon to an icy world and a planet full of caves, and each race takes about a minute.
Keyboard controls: A / D to drive (tilt the car in midair), Space to jump (once more in midair), Shift to boost, E to use an item, Esc to pause.
